2007-03-02 [jsun]: Hi guys, it's time to wrap this one up. I was gone for quite awhile (still am really). This contest has been running for awhile now and I've really enjoyed all the entries. Some of you guys have helped me see "Mirra" from several good perspectives.
Well, as I mentioned in the beginning, the winner gets the original artwork. I'll contact the winner and ask for a postal address to mail it to. As for the rest of the lovely artwork, it's definately going on my website. The same website that is gonna get a major overhaul and an update. This means that it could be sometime yet before you see your work on there, but hey... it's gonna happen.

Now, I'd like to mention some pieces that I really enjoyed but didn't happen to win my top spot.

I really like the flowing green ghost effect camouflage of Cia_mar's paintings.
Elysiann did a superb job of a more cartoon style Mirra in which the colors where beautiful.
Silver Seraph, the sunset sky on your first painting is AWESOME... I just love it to death.
Bratt has the total liquid color effect that I see in some of my favorite comic books down to a science. I really do like how you've pulled it off and your color scheme was a plus too.
dayahnaira, although not at all what I had expected, the purple-brown hair in your 2nd piece is beautiful. It was a pleasure to see it.

And the top spot goes to the artist who I feel portrayed Mirra just as she is in my world. It's not just a lovely painting of my artwork... it really brings Mirra to Life and that's why I choose Deeterhi's painting as the winner of the contest.
